The elderly people are an integral part and the senior citizens of our society. In an Islamic society, the elderly ones either in the family or in the society are considered as blessings from Allah. Therefore, it is expected of every Muslim to honor and give respect to the elderly as Allah (the Most High) and His Prophet (PBUH) respect them.
